Orthopedic Malpractice Defense Results in Dismissal With Prejudice

Cline, Cline & Griffin recently achieved a successful result in the defense of an orthopedic malpractice lawsuit involving robotic-assisted orthopedic treatment and an alleged leg-length discrepancy.

Following two days of trial, the plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed their lawsuit with prejudice, bringing the matter to a conclusion in favor of CCG’s client.

During trial, the defense challenged the credibility of the plaintiffs’ orthopedic expert for failing to reveal his public reprimand for licensing.

The underlying allegations involved orthopedic treatment utilizing MAKO robotic technology and the plaintiff’s ‘perceived’ leg-length discrepancy.
