Justice Kennedy To Retire From The Supreme Court

Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy, 81, the U.S. Supreme Court's most senior member, is stepping down from the bench, the court announced Wednesday June 27, 2018. Justice Kennedy’s retirement will provide President Donald Trump the chance to replace a crucial swing vote and shift the ideological balance of the court to the right.
