Walter P. Griffin

      Timothy H. Knecht
Mr. Knecht was born in Flint, Michigan, November 6, 1953. He graduated from Duke University in 1975 and from the Detroit College of Law in 1979. Mr. Knecht maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association (past officer, Board of Directors), State Bar of Michigan (2002 Chairman of the Negligence Section, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel and American Inns of Court.

Mr. Knecht maintains a general civil trial practice including professional liability defense, general defense, business litigation and personal injury litigation. He also maintains a real estate and estate planning practice.

      Jose T. Brown
Mr. Brown was born in Jackson, Michigan, June 11, 1956. He is a 1978 graduate of Michigan State University and a 1981 graduate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. Brown maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association (Board of Directors), State Bar of Michigan (Board of Directors, Negligence Section), American Bar Association and the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (past president), Chairperson Medico-Legal Problems, Committee of State Bar of Michigan, Past Chairperson of Governmental Affairs Committee of Michigan Society of Hospital Risk Managers, Board of Directors Michigan Society of Hospital Risk Managers, Author for Amicus Curiae Committee of the Michigan Society of Hospital Risk Managers.

Mr. Brown maintains a general civil practice including personal injury law, professional liability defense, general defense, dental, hospital and medical malpractice defense.

       J. Brian MacDonald
Mr. MacDonald was born in Flint, Michigan, May 21, 1950. He graduated from John Carroll University and Michigan State University in 1972 and from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio, Texas School of Law in 1975. He maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association, American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and State Bar of Texas.

Mr. MacDonald maintains a general trial practice which includes areas of personal injury law, asbestos litigation, hospital and medical malpractice defense, Social Security Disability and Workers Compensation litigation.

       Glenn Michael Simmington
Mr. Simmington was born in St. Louis, Missouri, July 14, 1952. He graduated from the University of Michigan with honors in 1978 and from Wayne State University Law School in 1981. Mr. Simmington maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel,  National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and serves on the Michigan Public Defense Task Force.

Mr. Simmington maintains a general and appellate practice. He handles cases involving fraud and abuse investigation, and engages in professional liability defense, criminal defense, appellate advocacy as well as personal injury work.  Mr. Simmington has professional experience before the Michigan Supreme Court and Michigan Court of Appeals, with years of private successful appellate work, both as appellant and appellee.

      Jonathan M. Hartman
Mr. Hartman was born in Flint, Michigan, January 6, 1970. He is a 1992 graduate of the Michigan State University and a 1997 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law. Mr. Hartman maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Colorado Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Hartman maintains a general practice including hospital and medical malpractice defense, general liability defense, personal injury law, municipal law, business law, real estate law, and criminal defense.

      Sandra K. Carlson
Ms. Carlson was born in Lake Jackson, Texas, August 9, 1960.  She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1982, and obtained her Masters Degree from Texas A & M  in 1984.  Ms. Carlson graduated with honors from Wayne State University Law School in 2000.  She maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association and American Inns of Court.

Ms. Carlson maintains a general civil practice, including estate planning, probate, conservatorship/guardianship, real estate, business and municipal law, civil litigation, and criminal prosecution.

      R. Paul Vance
Mr. Vance was born in Flint, Michigan, April 29, 1978. He is a 2001 graduate of Michigan State University and a 2005 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law. Mr. Vance maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association, Sports Lawyers Association, and is a certified NFLPA Contract Advisor.

Mr. Vance maintains a general practice, including medical malpractice defense, personal injury law, sports and entertainment law, business law, criminal defense, estate planning and probate.
